How can I book you right now? Through the Instant Price Quote system. When you get an Instant Price Quote, you will see a button to click to Book Event Now.
How far will you travel? We travel the entire state of Mississippi, and Out-of-State as well. When you do an Instant Price Quote, your quote will include any applicable travel fees for your event.
Can I give you a Playlist? You can of course, but we also have our own exclusive (we wrote it) Online Client System to help you plan your event online live 24/7, including our Music Choice System that you can use to make a playlist for your event, including selecting special songs needed (like a First Dance song on weddings).
What types of music do you have? We actually have and carry all types/genres of music with us to every job, unlike many DJs who have just two or three. We have with us all the time... Pop, R&B, Rock, Hip-Hop, Country, Blues, Line Dance, Alternative, Rap, Oldies, Metal, Soul, Gospel, Jazz, Latino, Cajun, Cuban, Disco, Salsa, Instrumental, Classical, Ballroom, Christian, Opera, Dixieland, Children's, Broadway, Ragtime, Funk, World, Reggae, Italian, West-African, Vocal, American Standards, Big Band, Rat Pack, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s, and even more.
Can I get lighting or other options without DJ/Music service? Yes. We are Mississippi DJ Services, but we know that our lighting in particular, along with many other options we offer are very popular. If you have a DJ already, or maybe a band is playing your event, or your uncle, or a friend, or whoever, you can still have Mississippi DJ Services for lighting and more. Just click the option for No DJ/Music when doing your Instant Price Quote.
Can I have our initials or names shining on the wall? Yes. That is known as a Custom Gobo, and you may choose from several different looks which you can easily select right in our Online Client System as well. A Custom Gobo can be shown on a flat wall or light colored hard floor. (We'll bring the light to show it, then afterwards you get to keep the actual gobo!) The charge for a Custom Gobo is only $179 (plus tax). It takes time for them to be custom manufactured, so you must order at least 3 weeks before your event date.
What do I have to provide? If you would like our control table to look the same as other tables or decor at your event (encouraged for formal events), then you will need to provide 1 skirted table (standard 6 foot table is fine, minimum needs to be 4-5 feet in length, No Round Tables, No Square Tables). All events must also provide electrical power (15-20 amp clear circuit, 3-prong grounded plug-in) within close proximity, less than 10 feet from our table*. A tent or covered area for outdoor events should be available in case of rain. *Table location is preferred to be near the dance floor when dancing is part of your event.
Can you do outdoor events? Yes. Our Great Sound system can be heard great outdoors and can cover a HUGE area without a problem. Obviously remember that this is electrical equipment and so weather plays a part. Rain of any kind on the system, or the threat of bad weather, is not allowed, and is why our agreement states a tent be available on outdoor events. Also remember that electrical power must be within a few feet of our table and equipment, so make sure and check that an acceptable 3 prong grounded electrical plug-in is nearby where you want us to setup.
